Below is a list of databases currently available to Woodin students via their Clever accounts (students should reach out to Mrs. Chmiel or their classroom teachers for login information if needed):
Gale in Context - Gale is a a suite of online databases which offer comprehensive research materials across various subjects, including history, biography, science, and social studies by integrating multiple sources like reference articles, news clippings, images, and videos.
Pebble Go - PebbleGo is a research tool from Capstone specifically designed for K-3 learners. It includes information on animals, science topics, biographies, and social studies.
World Book Online - World Book is an online encyclopedia that contains thousands of informational articles, photographs, videos, interactive maps, research help, and activities.
KCLS Databases - Through a partnership with KCLS, every Northshore SD student has access to a variety of databases offered for free. These databases include: Britannica Library, Daily Life Through History, Tumblebooks, and BookFlix Video Storybooks, and others. To access KCLS student accounts, students should sign in as follows: Username - 417 + student ID# Pin - last four digits of student ID#
